Google Webfonts

We use "Google Web Fonts" on our website, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Web Fonts enables us to use external fonts, so-called Google Fonts. To do this, the required Google Font is loaded from your web browser into the browser cache when you visit our website. This is necessary so that your browser can display an optically improved representation of our texts. If your browser does not support this function, a standard font will be used by your computer for the display. These web fonts are integrated through a server call, usually on a Google server in the USA. This transmits to the server which of our websites you have visited. The IP address of the browser on your device is also saved by Google. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data that is collected and processed by Google through the use of Google Web Fonts.

We use Google Web Fonts for optimization purposes, in particular to improve the use of our website for you and to make its design more user-friendly. Mailchimp

This website uses the services of MailChimp to send newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service with which, among other things, the sending of newsletters can be organized and analyzed. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address), it will be stored on MailChimp's servers in the USA.

With the help of MailChimp we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the email (so-called web beacon) connects to MailChimp's servers in the USA. In this way it can be determined whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked. Technical information is also recorded (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyzes can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you do not want an analysis by MailChimp, you have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

The data processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have stored with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the MailChimp servers after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. This does not affect data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the member area).

For more information, see the data protection provisions of MailChimp at:

https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/

We have concluded a so-called "Data Processing Agreement" with MailChimp, in which we oblige MailChimp to protect our customers' data and not to pass them on to third parties. This contract can be viewed at the following link: https://mailchimp.com/

(1) The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet usage.

(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

(3) You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. (5) We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of our website and to improve it regularly. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your Consent according to Art. 6, Para. 1, S. 1 a) GDPR.

Presence in Social Networks (Social Media)

We maintain an online presence within social networks and process user data in this context in order to communicate with the users active there or to offer information about us.

Furthermore, the data of users within social networks are usually processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created based on user behavior and the resulting interests of the user. The usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements inside and outside the networks that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on the users' computers, in which the usage behavior and the interests of the users are stored. Furthermore, data can be stored in the usage profiles regardless of the devices used by the users (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them).

For a detailed description of the respective forms of processing and the possibilities of objection (opt-out), we refer to the data protection declarations and information provided by the operators of the respective networks.

In the case of requests for information and the assertion of data subject rights, we point out that these can be most effectively asserted with the providers. Only the providers have access to the data of the users and can take appropriate measures and provide information directly. If you still need help, you can contact us.

  • Likes
  • Profile information such as pictures and other information you post
  • The above information may also include special categories of personal data, the processing of which is, however, privileged according to Art. 9 Para. 2 e) GDPR

Information that we receive from Pinterest in an anonymous and aggregated form:

  • The type of device that was used for access
  • Number of page views
  • Anonymous statistical data (so-called audience insights) from Pinterest. No conclusions can be drawn about the respective visitor, subscriber or registered user from this data

We do not currently use the data made available on Pinterest under “Audience Insight”. Should further data be made available, there will be no retrieval and therefore no processing by us.
